Appreciation for
health is boundless!

We improve the lives we touch through extraordinary care and compassion.

I am an Area Administrator who has been in the SNF industry for over 25 years. I have recently had the pleasure of visiting and working with the TEAM at Southpointe Healthcare Center over the last few weeks. I wanted to recognize this group for the care and compassion they’ve been providing to those in need! Keep striving to deliver the highest level of care possible! Thank you for all you do!!!

My brother, 77 years old, was admitted at about 5 p.m. to Southpointe a week after having his right small toe amputated due to a cellulitis infection reaching his foot bone. He is very tall, and the bed they had for him was not long enough. They did not have a walker that was high enough for him to use. I was very hesitant about this facility. I got there shortly after 9:30 on Friday morning and spoke with Ann Davis, program director, who saw me in the hallway trying to figure out my route. I ended up telling her all the problems my brother was having. She wrote them down and told me she’d get right to work on it. Well, I’ll tell you, that crew did an outstanding job of addressing all our issues. And I loved that every single one of those employees were very kind, caring and considerate. I was so pleased with the level of care and concern shown to my brother. This is a wonderful facility. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

My mom has gone from nursing home to nursing home for two years now. Her health has been declining, and I work in the healthcare industry, so, when experiences don’t go well, I move her right away. She has been at Southpointe for a month now, and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for the experience, so far. I am not one to write reviews, and I am trying to get better at this. I remembered they recommended to us to writing a review when my mom first came to the nursing home so I wanted to make sure I took the time to write one. The customer service has been great, and she is happy with her aides and nurses. I told her I was writing a review, and she asked that I say how great her caregivers are and that she loves her therapy as well. She said she attended bingo, and it was the most fun she’s had in a nursing home. My mother has done so much for me, and seeing how happy this place makes her, is the best thing I could ask for. Thank you to the staff at Southpointe for showing my mom what caring for someone really means

There are a lot of nursing homes in the area. I was very nervous about which one I wanted my mom to go to. I don’t live locally, so I was very nervous. My mom is currently at Southpointe, and it is going very well. I read the reviews on here, and it made me sad to see that good experiences were not on here so I wanted to put one in. They call me all the time to keep me updated, and the person in charge working in the afternoon is very engaged and knows her job very well. My mom loves the nurses and the aides, and she says they check on her frequently. I want to thank Southpointe for giving us such a great experience. My mom is making incredible progress in therapy, as well.

What a nice building this is.  The workers are very friendly and helpful.  I was honored that they asked me to write a review.  They have business cards all over the building, so if there are any problems, we can contact management anytime.  We’ve had a great experience.  My mom loves it. They have something I have never seen before.  They have seniors from the community who come and hang out together and have breakfast every week in the lobby.  These seniors also visit the patients in the building.  My mom loves this and enjoys brownies and coffee with them.  It’s nice to see that management welcomes this type of a home atmosphere.  I could sing their praises all day.

My mother was a resident at Southpointe for three years. During those three years, she received very good care. The staff helped her make Southpointe her home. She made so many friends with both residents and staff. She loved living there. We thank all the staff for taking such good care of her.

Caring Relationships Resonate!

The close relationships forged between staff and family at Southpointe Care and Rehab Center are authentic. That’s why so many of the individuals who have gotten better under our care keep up with us. Many share their family milestones, send us photos of their loved ones, call our staff members on their birthdays—or just send us their best holiday wishes.
